NEWPORT, KY (June 15, 2010) Newport on the Levee is adding a gourmet coffee experience to their eclectic mix of tenants.  Saxbys Coffee is scheduled to open on Friday, June 25, inside the Gallery Building behind the AMC ticket booth.  Saxbys Coffee will have a variety of options for Levee guests including gourmet espresso beverages, a signature Frolatte®, premium loose leaf teas, smoothies, Saxbys Fro-Yo! (frozen yogurt), and locally-baked pastries.

Saxbys is well-known for its uncompromising customer service, superior taste and numerous menu choices including a non-coffee kid-friendly drink with vanilla bean, chocolate chips, Oreos, dark chocolate and topped with whipped cream called the Kookie Monster.  The British Islander is a Saxbys signature frozen, hot or iced drink featuring white chocolate, English toffee and macadamia nuts.  Saxbys tart-flavored Fro-Yo! is non-fat, gluten-free with no artificial sweeteners and has attracted an enormously loyal following everywhere it is sold.

This will be the third Saxbys Coffee opened in the Southern Ohio region along with nearly 40 others nationwide.  The closest stores to the Newport on the Levee location are located in Monroe and Centerville, Ohio.  Saxbys Coffee will be open Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. – midnight, Saturday from 9 a.m. – midnight and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
