Newport on the Levee is excited to announce the name of the new boutique bowling center coming in the spring of 2010 – Star Lanes on the Levee.  The 24,000-square foot facility will be operated by Steven Foster of Lucky Strike Entertainment, developer of Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge.  Star Lanes on the Levee will be located on the Plaza Level across from BRIO Tuscan Grille and below Funny Bone Comedy Club. 

Star Lanes on the Levee, which will be owned by Newport on the Levee, will have 12 public lanes, a full-service restaurant called “TORO,” complete with patios, bar, billiards and a private party room with four lanes.  It will be outfitted with a high-end audio-visual package including hi-definition televisions and specialty lighting.

 Century Construction, Inc. was awarded the design-build contract to construct Star Lanes on the Levee under the direction of Architect Darren Spahr.  Jerry Merola of Amusement Entertainment Management serves as the consultant on this project.  The upscale bowling center is expected to be completed in the spring of 2010.
